This centerpiece represents where our journey as coworkers, and as partners, really began. LM Mailing was the first job we ever had together. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was where a lot of memories were made. It was long hours, loud machines, shared lunches, and plenty of time to joke, vent, and figure each other out in ways we never expected.

One moment that stands out the most? Teaching Taylor how to drive the forklift.

It started as a joke, but before long, she was behind the wheel, nervous but determined. Matt stood by coaching her through it, making sure she didn’t crash into a pallet, a wall, or a coworker. She handled it like a pro.

That moment stuck with us, not just because it was funny, but because it captured the kind of dynamic we’ve always had, supportive, playful, patient, and willing to try something new together, even if it’s outside our comfort zones.

LM Mailing was just the beginning. After that job, we moved on to work together at Dr. Print, and later found ourselves side by side again at Broadridge after both being laid off during COVID. Through it all, we kept showing up, for work, for each other, for whatever came next.
